Hey there, friend! My name is Luke. I use he/him pronouns. I am a PhD researcher, maker and musician originally from the West Midlands and currently residing in Bristol, UK. I'm a White British male with unkempt middle parted hair, a dark beard and stasche combo, and usually wearing glasses and a big smile. The photo here is me as a child: beardless, moustacheless, and probably wayyyy cooler.

I am a PhD Researcher and teacher somewhere at the crossroads of audio, games and accessibility. I LOVE games with open world navigation, but they're often designed to be visual-first experiences, such as reading maps, following a path, or finding an awesome chest in a cave, only to find out that it's a f*cking mimic... But why not do that with sound? What does auditory navigation sound like in games? That's where I'm building stuff.

I am involved in numerous music projects, ranging from hyperpop and rap, to DIY heartfelt indie, from mathy emo alt rock to experimental nerd music. I'm a somewhat proficient guitarist and vocalist but also dabble on a bunch of other instruments (I was definitely born to be a drummer).
